The Great Gatsby

We listened previously that Jay-Z would have a palm in a highly expected film "The Great Gatsby," portion as executive writer alongside a writer/producer/director, Baz Luhrmann, and Anton Monsted, an executive song producer. Now we finally get to see what a three baked up together for a film, that has an all-star expel including Leonardo Dicaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Isla Fisher and more.
The track list facilities a satisfactory share of illustration from hip-hop, with code new songs from Jay-Z, Beyonce & Andre 3000 (as we formerly reported, they did a cover of Amy Wine house), as good as new song from Florence & The Machine, The xx, will.i.am, Fergie, Q-Tip, Lana Del Rey and more.

The director, Luhrmann, spoke on a adaption of F. Scott Fitzgerald's book, and formulating music for it that blends a Jazz Age with a complicated spin. "F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel is peppered with contemporary song references specific to a story’s environment of 1922. While we acknowledge, as Fitzgerald phrased it, ‘the Jazz Age,’ and this is a period represented on screen, we—our audience—are vital in a ‘hip-hop age’ and wish our viewers to feel a impact of modern-day music a way Fitzgerald did for a readers of his novel at a time of a publication."
Hov pronounced in a prior statement, "'The Great Gatsby' is that classical American story of one’s introduction to extravagance, decline and illusion. It’s developed for investigation and prepared to be interpreted with a complicated twist. The imagination Baz brought to ‘Moulin Rouge!’ done it a masterpiece, and ‘Romeo + Juliet’s’ measure wasn’t only in a background; a music became a character. This film’s prophesy and instruction has all a makings of an epic experience."
